Chudzinski-Johannsen Park will be Ballville Township’s newest park opening in 2016.  The park’s setting is on a gentle rolling parcel of land approximately 74.5 acres located next to Tindall Bridge.   The park has 1900 feet of water edge property along the banks of the Sandusky River.  A master plan for the park will be developed by the Ballville Township Park Board over the next five years.  Updates of the progress will be posted on the website.

The land was part of the Gary and Ruth Chudzinski Trust.  The land was a combination of a purchase by the Township with a grant and a donation by the Chudzinski  Family.  The name of the park is dedicated to the memory of Kathryn H. Chudzinski and Marie T. Johannsen.  The donation is greatly appreciated by the Township and is an opportunity for the residents to continue the development of our park districts.
